Let me introduce you to Alice and Dirk, they are anthropometric models. Anthropometrics is the study of the human body and it's dimensions. This information is extremely useful to designers, engineers or anyone working on products or spaces that must be fit for human use.
This data sheet was created when I was living in Germany and the names of the models created for the sheet are Alice Elbe (alles elbe) meaning "all the same" and Dirk Schnitt (durchshcnitt) meaning "average". The models were based on those found in the Human Integration Design Handbook (HIDH) published by NASA.
The sheet contains some of the most useful dimensions relevant to design and engineering for human use. If you'd like a copy for your own use feel free to contact me.
